Carol is Great
Two days ago I drove into the city to meet my master for the apprenticeship I've been enrolled in. At first I was really excited and a little nervous to meet Carol. "Is she gonna be a cool person?" "What kind of worker will she be?" "Is she gonna be uptight?" All these questions raced through my head. But the reality pushed through the assumption and I was left with Carol. A world champion footbagger, who's super humble about her art and her achievements. While I was there we discussed our schedule (which is really exciting) and our art. Carol is a flight attendant, so she's allowed to do some of her work on the plane, which I though was really cool, but for a period of time clay was considered a plastic explosive and there was no sky high sculpting. Also because of the latter stated she has weird sleeping hours and is rarely home. Fortunately for me, I will be seeing her when she is home, and working with her. My first task was to post fliers for an art show Carol will be exhibiting in. After that I will meet her at her apartment next Friday to load and set up for the show I'm posting for. I feel so blessed to be doing this and at the same time getting paid! See you next post.
